Before next week's class, you should:
- Email me to set up a meeting to discuss your literature review
- Complete the midterm course evaluation online
- Read Chapter 8 in Qualitative Communication Research Methods (pages 247-278)
- Read this article on Second Life in preparation for our discussion/critique
- Write up the methodology section of your research project
Methods sections are generally no longer than 2-3 pages. Before you begin writing, you should locate 3 exemplars from journals relevant to your research interests. Model your own writing after these articles.
Your methodology section should be posted to the course blog by 12 p.m. on Tuesday. Please bring copies (of JUST the methods sections - save the trees!) to class with you.
